Today’s comic is by the tag-team powerhouse of webcomics, Curt Franklin and Chris Haley of Let’s Be Friends Again. Doing a guest strip for these guys was one of the first things that really brought visitors to the site, so I was super stoked when they sent me this.
And then I read it.
And then I cried.
And then I realized I totally would have hated Curt and Chris if we had gone to high school together.
And then I realized I could totally have beaten them up and taken their lunch money.
And then I realized that lunch probably cost like a quarter back in the ’70s or whatever.
And then I cried again.
Only one thing to say: Buuuuuuuuuuuuuurn.
I don’t think that Mountain Dew was called MTN DEW yet when curt was 15. That was way back before they’d even invented abbreviations.
Believe it or not, Curt is actually 16. True story.
